The Division
NSS Maintenance are a working at height contractor working throughout UK, servicing facilities management clients and the refurbishment industry alike.
Our national coverage operates from four UK depots to offer planned and reactive building fabric maintenance and refurbishment services to commercial, retail and industrial sectors. We currently employee 600 employees directly across the NSS Group and own a fully serviced truck mounted access fleet, which we use in house for reactive and planned maintenance and cleaning requests
Overview of your role:
As Glazing Estimator, you will play a key role in delivering accurate, competitive cost estimates across a range of glazing projects, including repair, replacement and large-scale works. You will be responsible for managing estimates from initial enquiry through to submission, ensuring all quotations are commercially sound, technically accurate, and aligned with client requirements. The role requires close collaboration with surveyors, contract managers, suppliers and the sales team to ensure all opportunities are progressed efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities of the role:
Preparing detailed cost estimates for glazing works, including repairs, replacements and project-based installations
Reviewing drawings, specifications and site information to fully understand project scope and requirements
Liaising with surveyors to ensure accurate site data and measurement information is captured
Sourcing pricing from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive and accurate costings
Producing clear and commercially robust quotations within agreed SLAs
Supporting the sales team with technical input and cost advice on glazing opportunities
Participating in the bid/no bid process and supporting tender strategy where required
Ensuring all estimates meet required quality standards and internal commercial controls
Attending site surveys and client meetings where required to support tender submissions
Maintaining and developing strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and subcontractors
Contributing to continuous improvement of estimating processes, systems and documentation
Supporting forecasting and pipeline tracking by ensuring timely and accurate quote delivery
Requirements required:
